once
you have purchased web hosting from ebay-hosting we will send you your
username and password for the ftp account
we will also give you the address to upload and download files. such as ftp.yourwebsite.co.uk
below is a choice of FTP clients you can
use if you do not already have one.

you
will need to set up a profile on your ftp client, giving the profile a
name
enter the ftp address we supply
enter your username
enter your password
click connect
you will now see the files on the server (usually the root folder
followed by a folder named www)
the www folder is where you will upload your web pages to.
there will be another folder named private, this folder will be where
you could put your database files
they cannot be opened or downloaded from here except by you, although
you can still run asp scripts to access the database (s) |
